Recovery sports grill has a few vegan options that are worth stopping in for. Most importantly, they carry Gardein vegan nuggets!

The Gardein nuggets typically come with dairy-ranch dressing on the side, so order without. With the Gardein nuggets these are the vegan sauces available:

  • Sweet BBQ
  • Chipotle BBQ
  • Cheerleader
  • Thai Chili
  • Thai Peanut
  • Tequila Lime
  • Bloodymary
  • Hot

If you’d like a suggestion: the Cheerleader is our favorite!

Another option is the veggie burger; the patty itself and the bun are both vegan. Ask for it without the chipotle ranch / cheese to make it vegan (maybe even add one of the sauces above!)

Their flat bread is also vegan if you want to work that into a dish. Their basic potato french fries and sweet potato fries are vegan. We’re checking on the fried pickles and onion rings.

Onto the unfortunate note; there are two items that need a warning which are NOT vegan at Recovery:

  • The hummus contains yogurt, this is in the base recipe and can not be modified on the spot.
  • The rice is made with chicken stock, this is also in the base recipe and can not be modified on the spot.

If you’d like to contact them about their hummus and rice, please do by using this feedback form: http://www.recoverysportsgrill.com/contact-us/feedback

Thank you so much for all the information you’ve provided on here. I’ve been vegan for 2 years and live in Brooklyn, so I’ve had a relatively easy go of my new veganism. But my dad is from Glens Falls and wanted to visit places from his childhood, and it is really nice to have all this figured by a local. Thank you for contributing to making our lifestyle mainstream!

    All my best,

    Maddie
