Fountain Square Outfitters is an outdoor gear and apparel store in downtown Glens Falls. A couple of products available there should be of special interest to local vegans.

The first is Lazy Dog Cookie Co. dog treats. Located in Ballston Spa, the  bakery provides dog treats that are all natural, wheat and corn free, and vegetarian. FSO offers the Pizza Crust and Sweet Puptato Pie treats for sale (both are vegan). Both have been very well received by my dog, Layla!

FSO also carries Darn Tough socks. They’re made in Vermont and guaranteed for life. No matter what. Seriously, it says so on their website! Just look for the ones with the Coolmax logo on the front because those are wool-free.

The staff is super friendly and always willing to help. Just stop in, mention that you’re vegan, and they’ll point you in the right direction.
